First Business Sponsor Signs On
Monday, June 21, 2010

Rosemont Market & Bakery, located at 559 Brighton Avenue, has signed on as the Nason's Corner Community Park Project's first LOCAL BUSINESS SPONSOR. Owner John Naylor said, "The success of our neighborhood markets can be directly attributed to the support we receive from the people in the neighborhoods in which we are located. It always feels good to give back. Rosemont's is pleased to lend a hand and support a project that directly serves our neighborhood."
Naylor, a who lives just blocks from Nason's Corner Park, talked about ways in which the park has been important to his own family. "When my children were younger we were at the park almost daily. My kids loved the playground. We skated there in the winter and they played T-ball and Little League every spring. Living in the city, I felt so lucky to have a park so close to my house."

Naylor says he likes the new design for the park. "My siblings and I grew up in the country, where we could go outside and play in the woods just behind our house. My kids didn't have that living in the city with only a driveway and the street to play on. How great it will be to have so much nature to play in at the local park."

Rosemont's first contribution to the park project will come in the form of ice cream which they have donated to the upcoming neighborhood picnic on July, 16.
